LUCHADORAS is an art collective formed by Regina Franco Vera and Noora Alho. They first met in Kankaanpää art school (SAMK) in 2018. Despite the distance, one being in Mexico while the other in Finland, they continue to collaborate through collective writing, photo manipulation games and meditation.

Luchadora is Spanish for a female wrestler. LUCHADORAS fight injustice, depression, inequality and cruelty with love and compassion.

Luchadoras explore the body, the environment and social structures through play, movement and spontaneity.

Our practice includes writing a daily interactive collective journal and connecting through meditation.

The collaboration has continued irl in 2025 with the collective's new work consisting videos, drawings, installations, ceramic sculptures and new crocheted masks exhibited in Pori during April and May 2025.
